New health guidelines issued for public and work-related activities
Nov 15 (AD) Director General of Health Service has issued a new set of health guidelines for public and work-related activities effective from Nov 16 – 30, 2021. According to the new guidelines, tuition classes can resume for O/L & A/L students with 50% of the usual seating capacity of classes. New survey finds country has enough phosphate deposits for 100 years

Dengue on the rise: 1,836 dengue cases in November so far

Nov 16 (FT) Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 detections rose to 552,274 with 732 persons testing positive for COVID-19 yesterday. The patients detected yesterday include 731 persons from the New Year cluster and one overseas arrival.
