Sep 12 (LT) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to expel Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Japan Jayanthe Palipane and recall him immediately. Steps have been taken to recall Mr. Jayanthe Palipane owing to the incident Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake had to face at Narita Airport in Kobe in Japan. Studies regarding the incident indicate Sri Lankan Embassy is partially responsible for the ordeal Prime Minister Wickremanayake went through at the airport.
