Dengue spreads; nurses warn of platelets shortage |
July 8 (Island) The Govt Nursing Officers’ Association (GNOA) warned that there would be a shortage of ‘triple packs,’ used to collect blood from donors in a majority of blood banks in government hospitals from late June. CPC pipe burst: Foreign help sought |

Aluthgama reconstruction in progress; Temporary army camp setup |
