July 19 (Island) The Economic Development Ministry has allocated Rs.1,723 million for developing the Monaragala District in the Uva Province under the House-to-House, Village-to-Village National Economic Development Plan. Hambantota port earns Rs. 750m from bunkering since opening last month

July 19 (DN) Ruhunu Magampura Port in Hambantota has earned Rs. 750 million since it started its fuel bunkering operations on June 22 for ships at the new fuel bunkering terminal. The terminal, which was constructed at a cost of US $95 million under the Magampura Port development project provides fuel for ships.
